East Providence - Kent Heights Litter Cleanup
Join the Runnins River Watershed Alliance for our Earth Day cleanup!
Litter cleanup along Boyd Ave and the woodland in Kent Heights (East Providence). Either collect litter along the roadside or brave the thorns of the forest. A tributary of the Runnins River flows through the beautiful forest that is filled with old farm stonewalls. Litter from neighborhoods and Wampanoag Trail have found their way into this invaluable greenspace. In the spirit of Earth Day, join us for a cleanup!
We will be able to provide safety vests, litter pickers, bags, and plastic gloves. Feel free to bring additional supplies. Heavy-duty gloves, long sleeves/pants, and sturdy shoes are highly recommended for those cleaning in the forest.
Any cancellations due to weather will be posted on Facebook. If you have any questions, please email runninsriver@gmail.com.
