I will share that this campaign has definitely inspired me to be more active in seeing and disposing of trash. Before, I'd tend to walk by and wait for someone else to take care it. There is so much, and it's all of our jobs, really. A few minutes a day and it feels good to be part of the solution. I am sure many participants feel the same way. Thanks for doing this! 

The Blackstone River Watershed Council and North Smithfield Heritage Association 

The Blackstone River Watershed Council and North Smithfield Heritage Association organized an Earth Day clean up at the Historic Mammouth Mills and Canal along River Street in North Smithfield. Mammouth Mills was once the largest mill in the U.S. The mill ruins will be a future town park. 1200 pounds of trash and litter was picked up.
